  <abstract>Finite Mathematics 2 strictly adheres to the requirements of the Department of Education’s Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum. Intended for a one-semester course, this book is organized into two primary units, each containing lessons aligned with the prescribed content standards and learning competencies. Unit 1 includes Lesson 1 on Counting Techniques, and Lesson 2 on Probability. Lesson 1 unfolds with topics from sets and set operations and fundamental principles of counting, followed by permutation and combination. Lesson 2 discusses probability of an event, addition of probabilities, and conditional probability and independent events. Meanwhile, Unit 2 covers Lesson 3 on Number Theory and Lesson 4 on Networks and Graphs. Lesson 3 focuses on the age-old proven theorems in mathematical principles to explain patterns and properties of numbers such as divisibility, greatest common divisor, least common multiple, and modular arithmetic. Lesson 4 tackles the fundamental concepts of graph theory including graph connectivity and traversibility, spanning trees, and shortest paths which help in decision making and finding optimal solutions to real-world problems. Ultimately, this book is designed to equip students with the fundamental knowledge as foundation for higher learning in the tertiary level.</abstract>
