Written in 44 BC, just a year before his own death, Cicero’s ‘On Old Age’ skilfully addresses the challenges of aging and the importance of living life to its fullest. Included as well is Cicero’s ‘On Friendship’. Published in the same year, it is a stimulating treatise on finding friends and the virtues of friendship.

These are timeless works brimming with wisdom which have survived though millennia and come directly from the renowned philosopher himself.
